The precision and balance of off-dry Riesling is simply captivating, and we believe it's the perfect style for Marlborough's cool, dry climate. Like an exhilarating rollercoaster, this wine opens with a burst of sweetness, followed by vibrant acidity that carries length and harmony to the finish.

Brimming with flavours of old-fashioned lemonade, key lime, and honeysuckle, its beautiful focus and purity stem from its single-vineyard origins at Anandale Farm, nestled in the cool, coastal Blind River sub-region of Marlborough. An ideal aperitif to whet the palate or to enjoy while cooking, this wine is a versatile delight.

Our winemaking philosophy for this wine is simple: the vineyard's voice comes first, so this off-dry Riesling is all about capturing Marlborough's precise site expression and the purity of the fruit with minimal intervention.

Hand-harvested in the cool breath of the morning it was carefully carried to the winery where it was whole-bunch pressed to capture the cleanest free-run juice. The juice was directed to a single small tank, then settled naturally for 48 hours before cool stainless-steel fermentation to preserve primary aromatics and vivid acidity.

A cool, slow fermentation was gently arrested by chilling to retain just the right residual sugar for an elegant off-dry balance while keeping the fruit bright. The wine received minimal handling, was lightly cross-flow filtered and bottled on 25 June 2025.

"Annadale Farm vineyard is located within a place called Blind River, one of the coolest and driest areas of Marlborough. The region is defined by easterly and southerly winds, ensuring vines work hard in order to thrive. This is clearly a spot for powerful and refined riesling. Pink Lady apples, grapefruit oil and lily-of-the-valley florals. An off-dry style with neat stitching of sweetness coupled with driving acidity and hints of a saline edge, too. Young almond and coconut gel round out the curves to the striking energy of the wine. A wine worth your time."

"If you need something to put a smile on your face, the 2025 Riesling Anandale Farm is the wine for you. It is a pure, clear style that balances friendly juiciness and finesse, without a rough phenolic in sight. Though there is a lick of sweetness, this remains clean and light on its feet. Hailing from the cool and windy Blind River area in Marlborough's Awatere Valley, the 2025 has a sense of calm and ease to it—despite being picked during an earthquake!"

"A highly polished appearance with silver green hues leading toa bouquet of lime and fresh green apple, citrus and sherbet ideas. An off-dry expression with a noticeable sweetness and punchy acid line for contrast and power. Flavours reflect the bouquet with pomaceous and citrus then a white apricot quality. Balanced, well-made and ready to drink from day of purchase and through 2033+. Be sure to cool this wine for service, no colder than 8Celsius is the recommendation."

"The pale lemon/green 2025 vintage is a single-vineyard wine, hand-harvested at Blind River, south of the Awatere Valley. Light-bodied (below 9 per cent alcohol by volume), it is fresh and lively, with very good intensity of citrusy, gently sweet flavours, and excellent vigour, delicacy and poise. Already delicious, it's well worth cellaring to 2030."
