2016 Blank Canvas Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough

'Blank Canvas is the new label of well-known winemaking consultant Matt Thomson and his wife Sophie Parker-Thomson. Matt is an experienced sauvignon maker and has consulted to Saint Clair since they started making wine in 1994. This single vineyard wine is from the Holdaway vineyard at Dillons Point. Quite intense sauvignon blanc with lemongrass, green capsicum, guava and passionfruit flavours. Good weight and length. Stylish and distinctive wine.' (95 points, 5 stars)
