In addition, Matt was named Best Up and Coming Winemaker.

You can check out the article in this Autumn edition of Taste Magazine, or read the reviews online here at Taste's website.

The reviews for each of the Top Wines are below:

Blank Canvas 2015 GV Gruner Veltliner Marlborough $28
Weighty, richly textured gruner that was fermented in oak puncheons and aged on the lees for 10 months. Mandarin, orange zest, root ginger and nutty lees.
Blank Canvas 2015 Pinot Noir Marlborough $44.99
Evocatively perfumed wine with savoury/fresh herb, violet/red rose, cherry/berry flavours supported by classy spicy oak. Dense and seamless with an impressively lengthy finish.
Blank Canvas 2017 Meta Riesling Marlborough $49
Concentrated but not overly luscious wine thanks to the restraining affect of tangy acidity. Intense, wine with beeswax, honey, hokey pokey, citrus, lime and floral flavours.
